There are few things worse than feeling down about how you look, but this is the situation many people find themselves in each day. We are critical of ourselves and compare our bodies to other people’s, but it doesn’t mean that it’s healthy or positive. If anything, it’s something that should be stopped! I think Instagram has a lot to play in this, but recently I’ve noticed bloggers posting more ‘real’ images.

Here are some of the things you can do to improve how you look and how you feel about yourself. That will help you to feel more confident and live your life differently and more positively.

Posture is a major problem for many people. As a child it’s something you hear your teachers or granny say, “sit up!”. It’s not always obvious that this is the issue, but when you carry yourself incorrectly, it makes you look less confident, and over time, that can make you feel less confident too. For many women, the problem of unwanted facial hair is one that really get them down. There is a stigma surrounding it that many people simply can’t break free from.
